We're letting Christmas go to our head ... can YOU?

Instead of taking their hats off to all those of you who are joining in our Happy House Christmas hat fundraising challenge, our kids are putting their hats on!
They have been busy making and modelling their own seasonal headgear, using palm leaves, scraps of card and paper with sensational results.
They  would like to see lots more pictures of YOU in your Christmas hats so please get in the festive spirit at home, with your family, in school and in the workplace by encouraging your friends to do the same.
All you have to do is to put on your Christmas  pop on a festive hat, post a selfie on Facebook tagging in Happy House, Watamu, Kenya , nominate friends and donate - by texting HHHC22 £2 700 70 or by making a donation via JustGiving  https://www.justgiving.com/childrenofwatamu/Donate/
It's just a bit of fundraising fun, and every penny raised will help us to give a safe and loving home and exceptional education to our growing family.
Our pictures show a selection of hats made by our children and those worn by you.
We'll post more here in the run up to Christmas ... so get your heads together and see if you can come up with something to give us all a laugh!

In a class of their own

Enthusiastic students in Year 9 at St Bede's RC School, Lytham, are busy raising money for our Happy House family.
Their year head Clare James told them about us and chose us at their charity for the year.
Elizabeth Gomm was thrilled by the response she received when she went into an assembly to tell them more about our children.
Their first fundraiser is a hot-dog sale at break time, and they have other plans in hand.
Thank you Year 9s,we think you are great.
