£5000 and growing!
Our Happy House Building a Bright Future £25,000 appeal to
finish, furnish, resource and staff (for the first year) has passed the 20%
mark and is growing.
We must have the school ready to open by January ready for
its first intake of students starting the new academic year.
With such a tight deadline we are knocking at every door we
can to try to raise the money needed, and are so grateful to all those of you
who are supporting our appeal and investing in the future of our children.
Thank you to Susanna Gregorio, who works with her husband Livio Leardi, owner a chain of fitness centres in Italy, for raising £345 at GetFit Milan
during the summer.
Susanna, and six year old Levian, to whom she is guardian
and Mama, arrived back in Watamu this week ready for Levian to rejoin his friends at Happy House school after the
holidays in Italy.
During that time Susanna, who adores fashion, sold of items
from her personal wardrobe and also sold surplus GetFit uniforms to raise money
for our appeal – with the valuable assistance of Levian!
Mama Sue and Papa Dave were delighted to to see Susanna and Levian back at Happy House and to receive their donation which brings our appeal to £3,366.68

Birthday greetings
There were two birthdays to celebrate this week.
Sifa, one of our very first Happy House kids, has grown up into a lovely young man
celebrated his 16th birthday with Papa presenting his gift to him at
Kidz Club.
Auntie Libby had the pleasure of handing a birthday gift to
Charity, who came to us a a very sick baby, who is now six.
