Our family gained lots of new friends from the Fylde Retirement Fellowship when Elizabeth Gomm went along to tell them about our Happy House.
They were inspired and moved by Mama Sue's mission to make a difference to forgotten children from Watamu and the surrounding areas by providing them with a safe and loving family home where they could "go to sleep in a bed and wake up to a breakfast".
And they were visibly moved by stories of some of children and the circumstances they endured before coming "home" to the Happy House,
A collection from the group, which meets at Central Methodist Church, Blackpool, resulted in a total of £81.
Thanks to everyone for being so kind and generous and for a lovely up of coffee, too!
