As Laura had heard all about Happy House from her mum, Carol, she decided to highlight our family.
Laura organised a cake sale at St John the Evangelist CE Church after a Sunday service, and invited Elizabeth Gomm to go along to guides last night to talk about our family and to hand over the £50 she had raised.Elizabeth talked about our family and the local community, showed them two videos and answered lots and lots of questions about the way our children live and the things they enjoy doing.
Laura, a pupil at Millfield School, is pictured above, with guide leader Karen Stretch (Left) and her mum, Carol, who is a guide helper, and also presenting the money raised by her cake sale to Elizabeth.
