Steve at Warton MU |
Retired Blackpool GP Steve currently has two talks to choose from - one describes his experiences when he ran a marathon just a few hundred miles from the South Pole, making him the ninth person in the world to complete a marathon inside the Antarctic Circle, In the second, he talks about the "the toughest footrace on earth" - a seven-day self sufficiency run in the Sahara Desert.
He is happy to take bookings from groups across the North West, or from conferences etc, and can be available to go further afield, or to stand it at short notice should a club have a last-minute cancellation.
This week Steve was guest speaker at Warton Mothers' Union where a collection raised £92.78 for the Happy House.
Steve and his wife Cherith are long-time supporters of Sue's work and are members of baby Esther's sponsor family.
