Francis, 13, who has osteomyelitis, is doing well on a powerful course of antibiotics, has endured a great deal of pain since the infection in his upper thigh and hip set in.
Now with his infected join supported by a brace, and the infection being treated he's getting better by the day.
And well wishes from the ladies of the Inner Wheel of Garstang and Over Wyre, the Zoeer family; Jackie, James, Sam India and Eloise are an extra tonic.
"They really made him feel more strong, being loved and remembered," said Uncle Ronnie, our social worker.
"Francis would like to say thank you to every one who has sent him cards and to all those who have sent messages or supported him in any way/
"He is looking healthy and happy. This would not be possible without your support which we we really appreciate."
