Happy House primary school kids competed in the first round of the inter-school athletics competition hosted by Watamu Primary School this week, writes sports teacher Mr Steve.
there were 15 school taking part and the competition was extremely tough.
Our kids put up a good effort and were placed fifth overall .
We produced the best athletes in the 100 metres, walking race and high jump and now have seven pupils who have been selected to go on from cluster level into the zone competition.
This takes place at Kijiwetanga Primary.
The youngster who will be taking part are Sanita Karisa, Lucky Mwachiru, Baraka Mkutano and Anthony Fondo all in 100 metres; Neema Karisa, Samson Mweri both in the walking race and Salim Charo in high jump.
