KIds get crafty

Our arty crafty kids had a chance to get creative on Saturday.
Louise Webster, who is visiting with husband, Garry, daughteers, Grace and Alice, and her own mum Ann, filled some of her luggage allowance with all kinds of goodies for a glue and glitter workshop.
She and her girls had lots of fun with the kids as they used their own imaginations to turn paper figures into fashionistas!
Mama Sue said all the items, paper dolls, gems, colours, feathers, googlie eyes, craft trimmings plus glue sticks,  collected over the run up to their holiday by Louise and her girls, were a huge hit with kids of all ages.
"Even the Form One kids enjoyed joining in. It was a lovely idea to bring all that was needed so if anybody else traveling would like to do the same we would be delighted."
There was a welcome for Hailey and Debbie Aspinall who have just arrived for a break in Watamu.
Hailey
Back in 2010, Hailey was one of our very first volunteers so she is thrilled to see first hand all the changes she has followed on the blog, and to meet up with the kids old and new.
Hailey, who with her mum Jackie are in Stevie and Charity's sponsor families, Debbie and our other guests were treated to a show by our talented acrobats and entertainers.
During the morning, the kids also had a session brushing up on their times tables, with Mama and Papa on hand to help and encourage.
Mama said it was a really enjoyable morning for everyone.
