From me to you ... RotaKids friendship cards arrive

There was a bumper bundle of mail for our children when a parcel full of cards arrived.
And better still there was one for every single one of our 72 kids, so no one was left out or disappointed.
Even our tiniest babies, Athman and Neema, have a new card to go into their memory boxes to enjoy when they are big enough.
The friendship cards were all handmade by children from schools on Lancashire and Cumbria two weeks ago when representatives of their RotaKids groups attended Rotary International's first ever RotaKids conference at Lancaster University and organised by District 1190.
Rotary members from Fleetwood, al;l in our sponsor family, Janet Simpson (Sudi), Irene Pollitt (Abu) and Sandra Foulkes (twins Pendo and Saumu) ran a card making workshop over three sessions where each child and helper made  friendship cards for Happy House children after hearing a bit about our family from Elizabeth Gomm.
Janet posted the cards straight after the conference and they arrived on Monday.
In a thank you email to Janet and RotaKids, Uncle Billy says: "
"Hello everyone! Thank you for the greeting cards and the pictures you made for everyone. It was a very special treat for everyone and  Sifa was kind enough to read your letter as everyone listened keenly.
The family has promised to get  back to you themselves and we shall do all what needs doing to ensure that you get their replies in proper timing.
Thanks for your love and support."
