Visitors to the Happy House immediately feel the sense of love and family that drives Mama Sue, Papa Dave and their team.
The children are their focus and the most important job in the world is ensuring that the kids, who come from the worst possible backgrounds of poverty or neglect, are safe, loved and cared for in a family environment.
Jo Wood from Great Chishill, near Cambridge, visited with her family husband, Richard, sons Tom,14, and Nick, 12, daughter, Milly, 8, and Jo's sister Nicky Carter.
Jo, who has now joined Harrison's sponsor family, says: "We were visiting Turtle Bay Beach Club on holiday and saw the poster about the Happy House. I stood and read it and thought it would be a great idea to go and see it for ourselves. We sponsor a child in Tanzania but have never been to see him - we don't really know exactly where he is but know it is very remote and it is quite difficult to arrange through the charity as there are lots of bureaucratic hoops to jump through!
" I loved the idea of seeing a project first-hand and thought our children would benefit from seeing children in this situation as they are so fortunate and privileged themselves.
At first, the boys were a bit reluctant to be dragged away from the beach and the pool but once we arrived they were fascinated by the tour that Billy gave us. We asked lots of questions!
"The buildings were so impressive, the rooms so clean and tidy and well organised. The school project is really impressive too. It's wonderful that the children can be educated in small classes and that this will is being expanded to cater for the children as they get older.
"The gardens and growing tunnels were wonderful. In one of the rooms a baby boy was sleeping but we didn't know he was there and we woke him up with our chatting. He started to cry and I picked him up so he stopped instantly. I asked Billy if it would be ok to carry him with me - it was Amani and he was so content to be held. I was hooked!
"Billy told us the story of him, his twin brother and his two year old brother who were with a young mother who could not feed or cope. Hearing the stories of these and many other children was very moving.
"We saw little Esther in her pushchair - at just two months, so tiny and vunerable and couldn't believe that she had been found in a plastic bag on a bit of wasteland with a gag in her mouth!
"When the tour had finished we sat in the playroom where many of the children had just had a snack and were sitting watching a Pingu dvd. We sat with them and slowly we started to interact. We had brought a football with us and my sister started playing the catching game 'Down on one Knee' with one or two children - soon lots were joining in and there was much laughing and giggling. My husband showed a child the 'little piggy' rhyme where you wiggle each toe and before long he had a queue of children wanting their toes wiggled!
" My son Tom started playing with some children with a tennis ball and before long he too had a happy audience. The noise level became quite high in the playroom so I suggested we take the games outside. The catching game continued and Tom gave the children piggy back rides and started racing with them. A skipping game started but we were pretty hopeless at that which caused much hilarity.
" Milly started playing clapping games with the girls, teaching some as she went along - they all wanted to have a go and formed an orderly queue. When one had finished she would join the back of the queue again so it went on until it was time to leave!
"We had told the tuk tuk drivers we would be about half an hour and we finally dragged ourselves away about two hours later! We were all grinning from ear to ear - the happiness of the children was infectious and yet also humbling.
Sadly it was our last day of our holiday - if only we had visited earlier then we could have come back again. Oh well, next time!"

Abbiamo chiesto un sacco di domande!"Gli edifici erano così impressionanti, le camere così pulita e ordinata e ben organizzata. Il progetto scuola è davvero impressionante troppo. Ascoltando le storie di questi e molti altri bambini è stato molto commovente."Abbiamo visto littel ragazza Esther - appena due mesi, così piccolo e vulnerabile e non potevo credere che era stato trovato in un sacchetto di plastica su 'uno po' di terreno incolto con un bavaglio in bocca!"Quando ebbe finito il tour ci siamo seduti nella sala giochi dove molti dei bambini avevano appena avuto uno spuntino e si sedette a guardare un DVD Pingu. Ci siamo seduti con loro e pian piano abbiamo cominciato a interagire. Avevamo portato un pallone da calcio con noi e mia sorella ha iniziato a giocare 'in ginocchio' gioco fermo, con uno o due figli -. lotti iniziali hanno partecipato e ci fu molto ridere e ridere Mio marito ha un figlio rima 'maiale' in cui si wiggle ogni dito e in poco tempo ha avuto una coda di bambini che desiderano spostare le dita dei piedi!"Mio figlio Tom ha iniziato a giocare con alcuni bambini con una palla da tennis e un po 'più tardi ha avuto un pubblico. Il livello di rumore è diventato piuttosto alto nella stanza dei giochi così ho suggerito di prendere i giochi fuori. Il gioco cattura continua e Tom ha dato piggy back corse ai bambini e si mise a correre con loro.
