Animal magic and crocs appeal

Our Happy House kids are planning to celebrate the second birthday of their very special home with an animal themed show.
Mama Sue has asked me to appeal to friends coming to the charity night to bring a foam animal mask with them - the kids programme includes songs from the Lion King, Old Macdonald had a Farm etc so any animal will do.
I've ordered a pack of six from Amazon, under a fiver with postage, which I think is pretty good. They are from a supplier called Blue Frog.
If everyone comes to the charity night wearing an animal mask we will have more than enough!
Other things on Mama's Wish List for to those of you joining us on the 16th at the Hotel Sheraton, Blackpool, are croc-type shoes for boys aged 2-4 and 5-6 and for girls aged 7.  They are ideal for the kids to play out in as they are tough, comfortable and wash!
Other things needed  are disposable nappies, baby wipes - they are expensive and hard to get in Kenya.
If you can't get to the charity night but would like to send a mask by post you can send them direct to me:
Elizabeth Gomm, 6 Burwood Drive, Blackpool, FY3 8NS.
You always respond so generously when we ask for items for our children and we truly appreciate your constant love and kindness. Thank you!
Fun day
The Happy House is one of two charities benefiting from a fun day at the Oak Tree, Brinscall, near Chorley,  on Saturday.
The event starts at noon and \will feature a pool marathon by some of the customers, a "guess the name of the teddy, home bake stall, tombola, raffle , bingo and kids lucky dip!
Proceeds will be shared between the Happy House and St Catherine's Hospice.
