Woven wares, by Evans

When we boys went out to explore and to make videos, I went to one of the shops where there were things made of papyrus reeds, writes Evans.

The reeds are gotten along a riverbank and people use them to make very things that are used in the community.
Inside the shop, were many different kind of things for me to admire. They looked colorful and attractive.
We had all sort of things like dustbins, lampshades, drums, shakers, baskets and many more.
We all had a nice time and we enjoyed our visit. How I wish you come and see these things for yourselves one day!
By going out on these visits we kids are learning some skills that may lead one of us to be a journalist. We thank our lovely mama for this wonderful opportunity that  could open a window in the world for one of us.
Thank you all and welcome to Watamu.
