Scholarship student Yvonne Bea suffered badly from the effects of living in poverty, but thanks to a free place in our school she is now healthy, strong and doing well.
A bright girl, she passed her KCPE last year andw ent up into secondary school in January.
She writes:
I am in form one at Happy House Secondary School.
I would like to thank Mama Sue and Papa Dave for giving us
the opportunity to be here.
We are so happy being here, the teachers are very
co-operative and ready to assist us with anything we need.
They are friendly
and socialise with everyone.
If not for Mama Sue, I don’t know what would have become of us by now.
I know it has not been easy for her to do all that she has, but because of God’s grace she has been able to.
May the almighty God bless the work of your hands and may
he give you strength so that you can continue helping all those who need help.
