There were apples all round for our kids thanks to the very successful barbecue at London Colney Cricket Club, organised by Natasha Wenman, Craig Osbourne and Danny MacFoster.The event on August Bank Holiday Monday raised £1880 and Natasha, who volunteered with our family, aked Mama if a little bit could be used to buy a treat for the kids,
Apples are too expensive to buy regularly and as everyone loves them Mama decided they
would be an ideal - and healthy - treat.
The remainder will be used to help support youngsters, many of whom are yet to be sponsored, on our scholarship scheme.
