The club has been busy raising money for our Happy House family as part of its overseas commitment and members were both inspired and touched by the story of our wonderful Mama Sue and her mission to create a safe home for children in desperate need.
At the end of the evening, overseas officer Pat Wilson (second left) and president Linda Willetts (far right) presented Elizabeth with a cheque for £300 which had been raised with Pat's help at a coffee morning and by a dinner for friends hosted by Margaret Watkins.
We are truly grateful for this very generous donation - it is very much needed and every penny will go directly to our family.

Birthday bonus from Baz
Another thank you goes to Baz Hay, from Fleetwood, who shared his 30th birthday with the Happy House.Baz, who is in Sulieman's sponsor family, donated a third of his birthday money to our family, plus money donated in collection boxes on the bar at his party at Fleetwood Cricket Club.
Together they raised £119.44.
