Baraka brings us to 74!

Now we are 74!
Six year old Baraka Francis has joined our family, and is now reunited with his brother Fikiri, Katana and Stevie.
Baraka, who falls in birth order between Katana and Stevie, was being left  to wander his village since the death of his father recently.
Under nourished and infested with jiggers, Uncle Billy arranged for Baraka to receive immediate health checks and treatment.
Having never attended school before, he begins class today.
As Mama says we will always have room for another ... which is why we are making plans to free bedroom space in the house currently  being used by school, by remodelling one of the bandas to convert it into school library, staff room, computer room and admin office.
This will enable us to move the older children into the rooms on the first floor and free up space downstairs for more children - taking our capacity up to around 100.
We are in the process of trying to raise £18,000-£22,000 to cover both this work and the installation of new school toilets, and as our family is growing so fast ... we will have to be quick!
