Auntie Rose's sister Peninah gets married in Nairobi at the weekend, but before setting off for her big day, there was the traditional blessing ceremony at the bride's home, Yaa Village.
All her family and friends gathered to wish the bride and 'groom every happiness, at a ceremony where there celebration and dancing.Among the guests were some of our and children who were not on visits to relatives, only the very tiny ones stayed at the Happy House.
