The Happy House was a beehive of activity when a large party of volunteers and visitors arrived from the Red Cross in Tawheed Secondary School, Malindi.
After a welcome from our family, complete with songs from our kids, the volunteers organised themelves into groups to help with a variety of tasks around the Happy House helping in the kitchen, laundry, baby room etc .. from scrubbing cots to polishing shoes.
And they also enjoyed team building activities including croquet, hoopla and football.
This was followed by lunch which they prepared of beef pilau with salad.
Uncle Billy says: "After lunch there was much dancing, fun and games. It was surely a lovely day with donations of clothes and food being left for our children.Thank you to everyone for their support and efforts."
