Tuck shop brings sweet surprise

Tuck shop takings at the English School, Padua, have again brought a sweet surprise for our Happy House family.
Throughout October students had been focusing on empathy as part of their PSHE programme. This coincided with the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty and to link both, year 12 decided to ask all students to each donate €1 and they ran a special tuckshop.
They raised €324 which has been divided between and Happy House and another charitable cause Progetto Dogon.
We are so grateful to the school and its students for their continued support for Happy House. It is always very special for the children and young people in our care to know they have the friendship and support of other young people in another country.
Thank you English School from all your friends at Happy House. We love you!
