Kwaheri rafiki yetu (goodbye our friends)

Father and daughter Russell and Natasha Wenman have made quite an impact in their four weeks volunteering with our family.
Natasha has been a huge help to our family, assisting where ever she could.
She's worked in the kitchens, in school, helped out with cookery club, lent a hand to the aunties and generally been a great pal to all the kids.
Russ has also been very popular with the kids - teaching them cricket and much more. He's also used his immense expertise to help sort out the nagging difficulties we have been having with out solar energy system, we are now just waiting for the inverter to come back from the repair shop in Nairobi to get it up and running (we hope).
He also helped by going with Papa to by a new generator and very generously made it a donation which is so kind.
Everyone warmed to Tash and Russ, so the family was sad when their time with us came to an end.
But we always say goodbye with a smile, wishing our friends a safe journey and a speedy return!
We thank Russ and Tash for  all they have done and look forward to seeing them both again soon.
