It was a contest strictly in the name of fun, and fundraising for our Happy House family.
The evening, hosted by the energetic Wendy, was arranged with co-organisers Chris O'Hare and Gabriella Gratrix, who are travelling out to volunteer at the Happy House in a couple of weeks time along with Chris' son Jacob.
Elizabeth Gomm opened the evening with an introduction to our family.
And with every penny from ticket sales and the raffle going our family it raised £348.50 bringing Chris, Gabriella and Jacob's fundraising effort, which includes money raised by fellow cyclists on Wheelers for Watamu Coast to Coast Ride and Jacob's cake bake at Kirkham Grammar School, to£2,255.
A special thank you to Wendy for her generosity and for leading the Zumba and to Gabriella took over for Warrior Combat.
Also to Chris for getting in the raffle prizes and to everyone who donated them and to Jacob for selling them
And of course big thanks to everyone who came along to support and take part in the evening.
