Empowering children and raising their aspirations is what
Mama Sue has instilled as the Happy House way.
So motivating children to learn, achieve and to want to
take on responsibility plays an important part in every day life in school and at
home.
When Mama Sue told Auntie Libby she would like badges for
children on the school council, Auntie Libby offered to buy them, understanding
just how much they would mean to those who wear them during their terms of
office and also how it would encourage others to want to be prefects etc..
Yesterday at assembly the badges were handed out to the
head girl, Janet, head boy, day boy Nigel, and to each of the prefects.
They went back to class wearing them with pride.
