When it comes to milestones in a baby's life those very first solo steps are really magical.
And there was applause and praise from Mama Sue, and all the family, yesterday when Peninah decided it was time to get up off fours and walk.
She's been feeling her feet, in the baby walker or holding on to things, for a while but she is now she up on her own and off.
And no-one was more pleased that Peninah!
Last week I mentioned that Lynn and I had gone along to Blackpool's Layton Institute where Alan and Barbara Hebden stage free concerts for pensioners, as this time the raffle proceeds were being donated to the Happy House. Thank you to everyone for the donation which totalled £78.
