Sue, back in the UK on a flying business visit, was a very special guest at a Blackpool Probus Club lunch at the Carlton Hotel, yesterday.
Elizabeth Gomm had been booked as guest speaker but, instead, she and Sue went along together as a double act!
The club members, wives and guests were so interested to hear all about the Children of Watamu from the very beginning and the road Sue has travelled from small beginnings in Blackpool to the Happy House in Watamu.
Elizabeth told of how she had become involved and the moving stories of some of our children, illustrating just how the Happy House is not just transforming young lives but also saving lives.
A donation from the club and individual donations totalled £90 which will go straight to helping our kids.
