Sharing strengths for survey

Mama Sue has always been keen that children's homes should share and learn to help them develop the best services possible for the kids in their care.
So she was delighted to offer Happy House as host, this week, for training preparation sessions for the homes in Watamu, Kilifi and Malindi  have been selected to take part in the the Association of Charitable Children's Institutions of  Kenya a baseline survey aimed at “Enhancing Protection and Care for Children in Need of Care and Protection”.
Each of the homes sent two representatives, social workers or senior staff, to undertake the training before taking part in the survey which involved conducting interviews and gathering information for the survey from service providers, users (including both children, relatives, community leaders and teachers).
Representing Happy House were assistant social worker Uncle Ronald and bookeeper, Auntie Jessica.
Mama is pictured with the representatives, Auntie Jessica is far left and Uncle Ronald second from right.

Can you help?

Our secondary school build is progressing well, but we still have a way to go to ensure we have enough money to finish, furnish, resource and staff it ready for opening in January.
So if you can help, and every £ or Euro does count, please make a donation this weekend.
You know that every penny you give will go exactly where intended to getting our first pupils into secondary school.
It's their future in our hands.
