Poor Uncle Billy has been going bananas to find something new and interesting for today's blog.
He's been out in the Happy House grounds where the bananas are producing a magnificent crop.
Unlike many British, children who have no idea how the fruit and vegetables they eat are grown and harvested, our kids, like Rukia and Hassan pictured here, know all about the food they eat .. right from planting to plate. They can see it with their own eyes.
Sweet bananas and plantain (a savoury version which has to be cooked) are regularly on the menu for our kids, and you can't get fresher this!
